The Prime Minister has visited the RAF Regiment unit training Ukrainian soldiers in urban operations. On 31 January 2026 members of 2 Squadron, RAF Regiment taking part in a training exercise as part of Exercise HYPERION STORM. Flying low over the moorland, two Chinooks support a land attack by Jackal 2 assault vehicles. After the target was secured, the Chinooks touched down, and the special operations forces embarked again, flying back to their base at RAF Leeming in North Yorkshire.
