Our own Branch Line Gala returned again for 2024, this year taking on a Western Region theme. Visiting from the Severn Valley Railway were GWR Kerr Stuart Pannier No. 7714 and GWR Manor No.7812 'Erlestoke Manor'. The third and final visiting locomotive was GWR Collett Pannier No. 1369. Alongside the visitors was the home fleet of SECR O1 No. 65, LBSCR Terrier No. 72 'Fenchurch', BR Standard Class 4MT No. 80151 (Running as 80100 for the gala) and on loan GWR Modified Hall No. 6989 'Wightwick Hall

This year’s gala welcomed two special visitors: 🔹Ivatt 2MT No. 41313 – visiting from the Isle Of Wight Steam Railway 🔹Hunslet Austerity No. 68067 – visiting from the Great Central Railway While 41313 performed beautifully across the weekend, sadly 68067 failed its pre-gala FTR
